I love how you've shown all the different incarnations of this yarn. I admire your stamina, and I think the pattern you settled on is just right!

It looks very dark in kind of "mwahahahaha! I have beautiful yarn and you don't!" way, but in a *good* kind of "mwahahahaha! I have beautiful yarn and you don't!" way :)

Actually the elongated stitches kind of remind me of eyes, and the forest-y colors go perfectly well with the story of Goldilocks wandering through the dark woods, while bear eyes follow her . . .

Yeah sorry that was creepy.

um . . .I like the scarf! It's gorgeous! Yay!

The final product is gorgeous! It looks so worth all the failed attempts, but then again, I'm not the one who had to do it.

Yeah, Lady Godiva is good stuff. In fact, I bought a sweater's worth of it. But decided that I didn't want to deal with variegation and sweaters. You know, the variegation pattern is different on the sleeves than on the body and on the yoke or neck than on the main body and blah blah blah. So I made a similar type thing to your lovely scarf, the Clapotis. I still have 2 hanks left and as thinking tank top. What do you think?
