Just wanted to say that I'm so happy with my scarf!! It's PERFECT; just the way I wanted it. It hangs nicely, keeps it's shape, doesn't curl, and best of all, it wraps beautifully. Thank you, thank you, for this FAST and easy pattern. Since I'm such a huge fan of this type of yarn, I can see this will remain one of my favorite scarf patterns.

I was searching and searching for the right scarf pattern for my Aquarella (mmmMalabrigo) Solis yarn. It keeps curling, despite many different attempts to avoid or fix that. (I have knit it entirely at least 4 times, and partially knit it too many times to count. Foiled every time). I came across your pattern on Ravelry, just as I was about to stuff the whole mess into the closet (so I can rediscover it a year from now).
So I just wanted to say thank you.
And also to let you know that I saw your blog in the process, laughed out loud several times, and chuckled throughout. I love your sense of humour, and share your childhool love of super-ketchupy chips (not to mention your insane 'jump-in-with-both-feet-without-a-plan' for projects/new skills and yet it MUST be perfect.... and a fickle procrastinator to boot! I'm right there with you, and it's so nice to know I'm not alone.
We should pick out a name for our little club... later).

Long live the Half-Assed Knit blog!

Thanks for the smiles.

I can not thank you enough. I have a scarf that I just have to make and don’t have any time. This pattern looks like it will save me.

Thanks for this. I've only just seen your comment. It is thick & thin & does fuzz easily so I think it is the same yarn.

I've found another scarf in exactly the same colour on Ravelry so think it is Aquarella but I used 6mm needles & the other was knitted on 9mm.

I don't know whether to reply here or on your blog, hopefully you see this... anyway, I think it could be Aquarella, but I'm not sure. The colour looks right for Coronilla. What I can't quite tell from the pic is whether the texture matches up. Aquarella is single ply and thick-and-thin, and fuzzes very quickly. If that sounds like your yarn, then it may well be Aquarella.

I'm trying to identify some yarn that I bought on a cone & am wondering if it's Malabrigo Aquarella in Coronilla. Could you please have a look at the link below & let me know what you think? I'm using it to make 'My So Called Scarf'.

http://blueadt.blogspot.com/2007/02/crazy-week.html

Many thanks
